When you take a sip of Blake’s made from fresh, real apples, you’ll say, “We’re not in Kansas anymore” – here’s why:
Here at Blake’s Hard Cider we pick our own fresh, ripe apples from our own backyard to give you the unique hard apple cider experience you’ve been craving for.
By popular demand from many of your neighbors in Kansas, we’ve been asked to have our selections shipped out to your local Kroger and Meijer’s store.
Here are just a few of the reactions we get from our die-hard Blakenites all over the country (all responses from our Instagram page):
“Come to Indiana!” – ovo_scotia
“Still can’t find any at my stores in Rockford” – ohraraaa
We’re working on it. Promise!
“Ohio loves you! I LOVE how I can find this all over now!” – andycheese
Odd name but, hey, we love you to Mr. Cheese (smiles)
“Please love Chicago and soon (in response to andycheese)” – dana_nichole_chicago
“Come to Indianapolis!” – lizuhbeth86
Getting there. Distribution is tricky as it takes time to not only pack and ship, but make sure we deliver consistently on the quality of our hard ciders with every single can.
On top of the many requests we get from people all over the country, we didn’t realize how many Kansan’s, Jayhawkers, Sunflowers and Grasshoppers enjoyed our products until we were flooded with personal requests to ship out to their hometown. Apparently, we have ‘undercover Kansan’s in our midst visiting our location or secretly tasting our drinks.
We don’t mind. Put us to the test. We love you and only want to give you the most enjoyable drinking experience humanly possible.
So, with a bit of elbow grease, negotiations and ‘business stuff’, we are proud to finally able to introduce our signature line of hard apple cider products in a store near you.
Toddmszymczak (instagram) said, “Thank you for cranking out Beard Bender in Cans!
You’re mighty welcome, Todd! We couldn’t do it without you buddy and we look forward to providing you with more varieties and flavors in the near future.
What can we say? We love to ‘spice things up a bit’ (smiles). That’s why we created this sweet, heated blend of habanero pepper, mango and our nationally famous Blake’s apples. It’s time you experience a cider that you’ve GOT to taste to believe. Experience ‘El Chavo’ (Spanish translation: The Kid)
Blake’s Flannel Mouth is created with a wide variety of late season table and dessert apples. This delicious combination gives it the sweet flavor it’s known for before finishing off incredibly smooth. Flannel Mouth is made from 100% Michigan-grown apples and we are sure it’ll win your heart (and taste buds), over and over again.
Not for the faint of heart, this 100% natural hard cider packs a mighty punch sure to knock you out of your seat because it contains no additives, preservatives or any additional flavorings. Just pure, old-fashioned, home brewed alcoholic cider (don’t say we didn’t warn you, it is title “Beard Bender” after all).
Derived from a variety of Bittersweet and Bittersharp apples, Beard Bender is tart, crisp and remarkably drinkable. Grown at our own farm here in Armada, MI.
If you’ve ever been under Michigan heat, you’d know it’s the polar opposite of Michigan cold. Tough to replicate that experience in a single drink, but we managed to pull it off. Experience WakeFire, a comforting blend of Michigan-grown cherries, orange peel and our famous Blake’s apples.
Depending on your store and location will determine which of the 4 selections above will be available in your area. Some places all four are available, in others as few as two. Either way we’re working diligently to give you diverse options to choose from (smiles).
Lauren Miller has been with us since she was born. And we are honored to have been a part of her joyful childhood memories. Here’s a few words of what she had to say about us.
“My family always knows best! I’ve been going here since I was born!;-) They have the absolute best apple orchard and pick your own fruits and veggies around!!! Always look forward to hay rides and huge pumpkin patches every year !! As an adult, I love the haunted Halloween attractions. However I was a scaredy cat kid. I really love the new cider too”
Sure, you live in Kansas and unless you personally pay us a visit at our farm here in Armada, MI, you likely won’t have the same experiences Lauren had (although many of our visitors have come from Kansas to visit us and were blown away with our customer service, our staff, and wide variety of activities and entertainment for the whole family), however, we can do the next best thing and bring our traditional hard apple cider, our ‘feel-good’ energy and every ounce of our personality and love into every can of Blake’s Hard Cider you personally consume and enjoy.
When you take your first sip of El Chavo or WakeFire, it’ll ignite a ‘fire in your belly’ to pay us a visit. If not, you can still find us in your local Meijers and Krogers beverage Isle and enjoy the spirit of Blake’s in the comfort of your own home.
We’d love to invite you to come visit us at 17985 Armada Center Rd. Armada, MI 48005, give us a call at 586-784-9463 or shoot us an email at: email@example.com if you have any questions or inquiries and check out our website for more exciting product updates and news releases!
